Unique Primitive Style Bookcase With Storage Area

We have for sale a very unique primitive bookcase with doors on the bottom. This cabinet has been made from old recycled wood from old barns and houses. The bottom door inserts are made from old bead board. The hardware and some of the trim are not old. Very good looking cabinet that will work well with other primitive pieces to make your country home look great. This cabinet is an off-white color with walnut color wood. 1900s Dropfront Federal Secretary With Bookcase On Top

We have for sale an early 1900's Federal dropfront secretary with bookcase on top. The bookcase has two adjusting shelves that are behind two glass doors with the dropfront opening to pigeon hole compartments with two secret compartments. There are 4 serpentine drawers with brass pulls with the base setting on claw feet. We do not know the maker or the date it was made in the 1900's. The secretary will show your normal wear. This is a nice piece of furniture. Very solid and sturdy. It stands 84 1/2 inches tall by 37 inches by 19 inches and weighs 126 pounds.
